The tiles are completely formed by hand. Of importance is that the creating, baking and drying take place very carefully to prevent cracking and/or warping. The images on the individual tiles and tableaus are of own design and hand painted.
Commissions have been taking place for many years and the products (unique or limited editions) have been sold far outside of Europe.
Self-composite glazes are used on the vases, bowls, mugs and pitchers. After baking it often means that a slightly more interesting finish is achieved than with a factory glaze.
